INDIGENOUS
EUROPEANS

Little is spoken of in the Western world about the indigenous populations of Europe, which is why UWMA is dedicated to bringing awareness and sparking the flames of curiosity and genuine interest in these cultural groups. The Saami of Sweden,Norway, Finland, and Russia, the Inuits of Greenland and the Nenets of Russia are just a few of the underrepresented ethnic groups in the region whose cultures, customs and wares are both fascinating and exquisite. In addition, while the Romani and Dom people can be found worldwide, many have inhabited European regions since the turn of the millennium having migrated there from northern India. Explore with us and enjoy the rich cultural beauty that each has to offer!
