Uzuri world market seeks to draw from the best of all worlds in a meaningful and beautiful way in order to encourage curiosity and help people to find common ground. we believe firmly in equity and mutual growth, and we are working to create an online environment that fosters communication, connection, understanding, and support between cultures.

In 2015, I visited India for the first time and fell in love! The people, the cities, the food, the feel ~ it was all so intoxicating! And, like anyone who is blessed enough to be able to be immersed in another culture for a while, I was given the ability to understand on a granular level that we are all indeed the same. The human life is a shared experience ~ the only difference is our location on the planet.

There is so much to learn and embrace in each other's cultures, and the process of exploration and discovery is intensely gratifying. However, many of us are unable to travel physically to other countries, let alone to other cities, states or even to other neighborhoods.

I've discovered that on the pangea of artistic imagination ~ from visual art, to textile art, to music, to dance ~ in that country, we all speak the same language: the language of joy.

My purpose is to bring people together in the realm of Beauty so that I may inspire growth, strengthen human bonds, and cultivate openness and a deeper understanding of our shared identity as sisters and brothers on this magnificent planet.

I believe it's a small world and all souls are connected. We are destined to meet certain people who help us to shape our lives and guide us in our journey.
Hailing from the city of Mumbai, I am a travel and events professional with over a decade of experience. My connection with the hotel & travel industry across the globe enabled me to understand people from different walks of life. Whether I was interacting with a teenager from Peru, a gentleman from Myanmar, an Industry associate from Austria, or an entrepreneur from South Africa, I soon recognized that people are people no matter where in the world their home is.
Last year, my passion for food and photography took my career in a new direction! Now I'm an entrepreneur with a homegrown business selling handmade Indian Spices from Mumbai and authoring a food blog called, "The Talking Bee". My experience, my love for people, and my natural curiosity for exploring new cultures led me to partner with Sherah and made me the perfect team member to help Uzuri World Market grow.
There is so much we can learn from one another as each one of us has stories to tell and a perspective to share.
